Every year our company is participating in the Advent calendar of Qiita, a Japanese blogging/Stackoverflow-type website in Japan. During the month of December, a lot of companies are publishing technical articles every day. In our company, every day a different engineer is publishing an article. This year I was in charge of the 21st. This year I chose to not write a technical tutorial-style article, but rather a general programming related topic, more specifically about best-practices and code-quality. It is about the "Boy Scout Rule" in programming. The article is in Japanese, but you can use Translation tools if you don't speak Japanese.
